We had a Dream
Action Camping & Outdoors started from an opportunity to purchase another camping store in 2014, which didn’t come to fruition, but we now had the camping bug & we were determined to create our own store.
In December 2014 Paul, Michelle & Jordan Watt finally opened Action Camping & Outdoors at Oxenford, Queensland.
For 14 months we slugged it out against the big guys, building our reputation on good old fashioned customer service. Unfortunately, we over capitalised & we had no choice but to close down the shop front in March 2016.
The New Beginning
After 2 months of regrouping in June 2016 we launched our new look website with a new & improved functionality to enhance our customer's experience. We are hoping to make this a successful business whilst still maintaining the original focus of customer service. We want to be the place you go to for all your camping needs.
Action Camping & Outdoors is a family owned & operated business. We are also a recognised Australian Veteran Owned Business, with Jordan serving in Afghanistan for the Australian Army.
