Kelsey's Collections is where art and function meet. We access great art through licensing and directly with artists, then we print these images on canvas, with a special giclee printer. Giclee is a French word which means spray, and the pigments show all the brush strokes and color nuances of the original art so well that it almost looks like the original. We also source fabric and wall paper that we like and apply that to our furniture. Custom work is also available at no extra charge if you just send us the prints, wall paper, or fabric.
We have licensing agreements with some of the greatest artists in their field. We select their best work to share in a creative process that we experience to some degree, just as they did when they were first inspired and then persevered to produce the beautiful masterpieces we so enjoy. We take these artworks and match them to the best extent possible, to the furniture pieces we produce. We do this through very high resolution scans of the originals and then reproduce them with Giclee printers on canvas. The canvas is then stretched and glued to panels that become part of the function of the furniture.
