Growing up in the 70’s surrounded by a very creative and artistic family, Mali’s love of Indian clothing was established at a young age. When her Aunt was a missionary in Kathmandu, Nepal she was sent elaborate silk clothing, tunics & kaftans that were unseen in the US at that time. Mali's love of color and style became apparent in her artworks, clothing and home décor items that she created and designed in the 90’s while also modeling and collaborating for fashion shows and events. Her move to Miami brought new perspective on fabrics and the use of color and print.
