Born in Serbia, Ivana Berendika left the country at age 18 to pursue a career in modeling and travel the world. Drawn to the architecture, art and cultures that she was being exposed to, Ivana developed an interest in design and enrolled in Parsons School of Design in New York City.
In September 2013, Ivana launched her own luxury jewelry collection, ARME DE L’AMOUR. French for “Weapon of Love”, ARME DE L’AMOUR is a brilliant balance of modernity and tradition. From geometric patterns to ruffles, each piece is influenced by her appreciation of contemporary art, sculpture and time spent abroad. During a trip to Vienna, Ivana found a muse in Gustav Klimt’s partner, Emilie Floge, and the geometric patterns common in her dresses continue to inspire her collections.
Marrying the arts of the future and the past, 3D-printing technology is incorporated into the design process and each piece is created by a master jeweler, instilling a personal, handmade touch.
ARME DE L’AMOUR has been featured in Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar and Elle, is often worn by celebrities such as Rihanna, Kate Moss and Naomi Watts. Select pieces from the collection are sold at Net-A-Porter, Fivestory and Bergdorf Goodman.
