We wanted to create a product that was not just high quality, but was a product that people would feel good about feeding to their family. An animal that was never exposed to hormones, but was grown slowly on grassy pastures and finished with a grain ration that was free of any genetically modified organisms -- no "super corn" here! An animal that never received antibiotics, which frankly never needed them because it was never jostled around in a semi-truck or slotted into a feedyard with 50,000 of his closest friends.
