Batik Surf started out as a hobby and a passion for surfing.
Back in the days surfing fins were hard to get and very expensive for local surfers.
So one day creative locals started to make handcrafted fins at home.
During the years our fins became our culture by using batik as our fin decoration.
Batik is unique and traditional in our Indonesian culture. This was the start of Batik Surf!
Nowadays the fins are of excellent quality, unique and already many profesional surfers are using them.
We already ship our products all over the world: Australia, Japan, South Africa, USA and Europe.
The process of making our Batik fins is very time consuming because every step is done by hand with lots of passion.
Making one set of fins can take up to 5 days, with a beautiful and unique result.
Our mission is to show the world our beautiful products and be able to hire more local boys and girls to make our unique products.
This way we can help the prosperity in our home town and give everyone a fair chance in life.
