Church Stores is a family owned company, its first store opening in the Queen Victoria Building, Sydney in 1904. In the century that has followed, with Sydney as head office, branches have operated in Brisbane, Perth, Adelaide and New Zealand. Today, technology allows us to efficiently service our local, interstate and international customers from our premises in the Dymocks Building in the Sydney CBD.
Three generations of family members have managed and worked in the company since its inception. All have been committed to ensuring that both the quality and expertise in the provision of Church Furnishings and apparel have been carried on.
Our garments, paraments and altar linens, both stock lines and special commissions, are all made on site by our skilled vestment makers. Our church plate and metalware is predominantly made locally. It is company’s policy to offer our customers a broad choice but where ever possible to support Australian manufacturers and products.
To that end, we have worked with many suppliers to ensure that all our Church furnishings meet required specifications, cover the needs of all Christian denominations and are a good quality equal to that of anywhere in the world.
