While backpacking in Thailand, I was walking through a night market in Bangkok when my worn flip-flops finally broke. Needing to find another pair, I walked up to a vendor's display shaped like a tree with flops hanging from the branches. What I tried on was the most comfortable flip-flop I had ever worn. I discovered they were made from high quality natural rubber, tapped from Thai rubber trees. The idea was so inspiring to me that I founded Feelgoodz in 2008, right in my parents' backyard (Yes, out of a 10x10' shed that I bought from Home Depot!).
