I am a Chemical Engineer, and love chmesitry and formulas. Throughout my adult life, I struggled with several skin concerns and never seemed to really fix any of them. I would visit one skin care counter after the next, talk to many people and look at articles online and always found it very confusing to separate marketing hype from reality. I also always wondered why we needed so many products and how these products worked. Until I reached 40, no one had ever explained to me the need or use of a Serum, or a toner. I just bought products and used them. I also did not understand how my skin functioned and what to do to delay aging, beyond wearing some sunscreen every day. I was basically your average consumer. I also had very little time on my hands, with family, kids and a career, I litterally had about 10 minutes a day left to devote to my skin care regimen. I simply did not find it important enough, until I started to see signs of aging on my skin. Then I started to worry, a lot. So I started feeling guilty that I dedicated a lot of time to exercise, diet and eat well, but never enought time on my beauty regimen. I simply did not know what to do.
