Personalized Books for Children

Writing children's books is so much fun! I wrote my first one in 2000. It was about Bobby the Bear getting a bad grade on his report card. (It was really about our son!) I got such great response, I continued to write more. Now I have over 30 stories about different things kids go through, like a new baby in the family, starting school or daycare, silly animals and sports and how much they are loved my their parents, grandparents or Aunt and Uncle. They all have sweet and simple rhymes and really cute pictures.

I got hooked on writing rhymes about 20 years ago when I started writing my Christmas poem. Each year I take a Christmas Carol and change the words to talk about our family and the year we've had. It got to be so popular, people would ask me when they would be getting theirs. Everyone looked forward to getting them each year.

Now I can bring my words to life with all the characters and graphics I use to design my Sneaky Snail Stories. It's so fun to see the finished product. I usually complete a book in a day or two. I write the main words and then start adding the graphics. I go back and tweak the graphics until I get it just right!
