I founded Solidea Medical to help others like myself who are stuck wearing compression garments every day. When I was first diagnosed with lymphedema, a chronic side effect from breast cancer treatment, I felt helpless and hopeless. Like others, I was afraid of the unknown and just wanted to be me again.

I discovered that one of Solidea’s patented fabric technologies, Active Massage®, has incredible properties for reducing edema (swelling). It was extremely effective for alleviating the swelling and discomfort that my lymphedema caused.

I started my company to bring this wearable solution to others who require compression garments to manage their condition. I’ve learned that early intervention and diligent management are the key to slowing the progression of any condition. I still struggle with managing my lymphedema but without Solidea compression garments, I know my life would be very different.
