Spruce Mountain Designs is one of the few small scale jewelry companies who still use the ancient technique of lost wax casting. It is a demanding and timely process, but it allows them to create quality jewelry with exquisite details.

Spruce Mountain Designs is a collaboration of two artists, Suellen McMillen and James Piet Van Woert who have been designing and creating jewelry together for over 20 years. By combining their knowledge, skill and artistic energy, they have the ability to design a piece of jewelry from the beginning and the expertise to finish it through to a beautiful wearable piece of art. All work is completed by them in their Lake Placid, NY studio.
