Inspired by past images of elegance when women of style dressed for dining, travel and parties, The Feathered Head’s 2016 Cocktail and Bridal Collection features a diverse array of feathered fascinators, headbands, combs, clips and veils, along with accessories including plumed bracelets, purses, wraps and ties. Subtle or bold, it's our philosophy that feathers provide the wearer with a stylish sense of fun and lightness -- a lofty departure from sartorial snooze. More than a fashion statement…they are a declaration! Our pieces, with their lush feathers, iridescence and movement, celebrate life, nature, hope and cheerfulness. and thus are perfect for all occasions.

Most of our hair ornaments are crafted entirely by hand. Combining soft, luminous feathers with unexpected elements such as vintage jewelry, heritage millinery, re-purposed trim, textural flowers, quills, Swarovski crystals, natural fibers and luxe fabrics, we create one-of-a-kind works of art. We give new life to previously loved pieces by creatively restoring them to reflect a modern sensibility. In the case of our vintage hats, sometimes we adorn them with the feathers they should have been born with…other times we further the feathers they were. Still other pieces are so special that when we encounter them in our constant search for the "unique", we include them in our Collection "as-is" with little, if any, embellishment.

In addition to offering one-of-a-kind headpieces and accessories for parties, The Feathered Head specializes in custom-designed wedding headpieces for brides, mother-of-the-bride and attendants for the wedding day and surrounding events (engagement party, showers, rehearsal dinner, etc).
