The initial idea came easy to the craftsmen who founded Throne: make leather watch straps by hand and partner them with vintage watches. By doing so, they rescued beautiful timepieces that would otherwise be lost to a second hand store shelf or the deep end of a junk drawer. Although a proven successful strategy, this didn’t satiate the owners of Throne for very long. In 2014, they put their knowledge to the test and created the first ever Throne watch, aptly named the “1.0”, built from quality parts and assembled in America. The final product is a classic, simple, and beautiful timepiece.
